★The trip recording is an added-value service, provided by the driver under the premise of ensuring safe driving. The equipment is a basic entry-level model, mainly used for recording fun moments during the trip, not a professional photography service. The actual operating cost of this service is low (equipment depreciation and basic consumables are approximately 50 RMB per person), therefore it cannot be compared to professional photography effects. If the service is not provided due to equipment failure, weather, road conditions, or other reasons, we will refund the fee according to this standard. We suggest you also use your mobile phone or other personal devices to record precious moments. The driver’s photography is primarily spontaneous and does not include pose guidance, detailed photo retouching, or dedicated on-site photography services.
6. Driver: This tour only includes a driver, not a tour guide. The driver’s meals and accommodation are covered by the travel agency. Due to limited education, the driver may not be able to provide professional explanations, and for safety reasons, may not be able to interact with the group while focused on driving. Please understand and plan your trip in advance.
7. Meals: No main meals are included throughout the tour, only breakfast. Breakfast is not included in the wooden cabins in Hemu and Kanas; please arrange your own.
8. Insurance: The travel agency purchases the Baoyou.com Baoyou Changxinyou Domestic Travel Protection Plan (Travel Agency Exclusive Purchase Version), Plan 1, Plan 4, with a maximum coverage of 500,000 RMB for travel accident insurance. Specific coverage and related liabilities are subject to the policy agreement. Guests are advised to purchase higher coverage insurance on their own!
The following are not included in the price: This tour does not include a tour guide service!
1. Meals: All meals are not included (tourists do not need to share the cost of the driver’s meals and accommodation).
2. Attractions: Entertainment activities within scenic areas.
3. Other: A. Additional costs incurred due to force majeure events such as traffic delays, strikes, weather, aircraft or mechanical failures, flight cancellations or schedule changes; B. Personal expenses such as laundry, hairdressing, telephone calls, faxes, pay TV, drinks, and tobacco in hotels; These expenses, as well as any costs not mentioned in the inclusions, will be borne by the traveler and will not be covered by the tour operator.
4. Optional Attractions: Various entertainment activities within scenic areas, such as horseback riding, rafting, paragliding, helicopter rides, etc. (including but not limited to the above activities). Travelers should participate with caution and fully consider the risks. These activities are not within the scope of the travel agency’s services.
5. Excess Mileage Fees: According to the regulations of the Transportation Management Bureau, drivers of commercial vehicles in Xinjiang are limited to 600 kilometers per day. Exceeding 600 kilometers will result in a hefty fine of 20,000 to 100,000 yuan/revocation of the business license. Therefore, in addition to the itinerary, we recommend that you arrange your own taxi or other suitable transportation for daily travel. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
6. Contract Notes: Please note that the selected routes are mostly mountainous areas with unpredictable weather conditions. Please check the weather forecast for your destination before your trip and decide whether to come. If the weather changes and you still choose to go, any additional costs incurred due to delays, such as extra accommodation, meals, and return travel, will be borne by you personally.
7. The above itinerary schedule may be adjusted due to force majeure factors such as airport arrivals and departures, weather, and road conditions, without affecting the itinerary and service standards. Thank you for your understanding!
Restrictions on Participants:
Our company currently does not accept the following individuals for group tours:
1. Pregnant women:
Due to potential risks such as bumpy roads, altitude sickness, or unforeseen emergencies, pregnant women at any stage of pregnancy are not permitted to join the tour to ensure the safety of both mother and baby.
2. Infants under three years old:
Infants without independent mobility are not accepted for group tours.
3. Senior citizens
• 70-74 years old: In addition to a health certificate, they must be accompanied by one immediate family member under 60 years old throughout the trip;
• 75 years old and above: Due to insurance coverage limitations and high-risk emergency response requirements, they are not accepted.
4. Unaccompanied minors
• Minors under 18 years of age must provide a guardian’s authorization letter and be accompanied by at least one adult relative.
5. Disabled persons:
• Due to the complex terrain involving plateaus and mountains, and the inclusion of long periods of travel by vehicle and hiking, we are temporarily unable to accept tourists with mobility impairments or requiring special care for safety reasons. We appreciate your understanding.
6. Tourists from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and foreign countries:
• Some routes involve border areas, and we need to confirm in advance whether foreign tourists are allowed to enter.
7. Groups of six or more:
We will allocate groups to two independent vehicles (each vehicle is an independent small group) based on actual capacity. Each vehicle may have an independent itinerary pace or differences in stops along the way. Forcing parallel travel will interfere with the experience plans of other groups and may even cause delays to the overall itinerary. Therefore, we cannot guarantee coordinated travel between vehicles. We appreciate your understanding. Those who mind this should book a private tour.
Special note:
• According to the relevant provisions of the Tourism Law, tourists have an obligation to truthfully disclose their health status. Tourists are responsible for any consequences resulting from concealing their health status. The travel agency has the right to terminate the contract without incurring any liability for compensation;
• This clause is formulated in accordance with the “Travel Agency Service Standards for Senior Citizens”, the “Law on the Protection of Minors”, and insurance underwriting rules.
Important Notes: This is a nationwide group tour for 2-6 people, with a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 6 people. We cannot guarantee the age, gender, or number of participants. Thank you for your understanding.
1. Please provide accurate and complete identity information and contact details when booking to avoid booking errors that may affect your trip. The travel agency will not be held responsible for inaccurate information provided by the guest.
2. No refunds will be given for complimentary items included in the itinerary if they cannot be provided due to force majeure events such as traffic or weather, or if the guest cannot participate due to personal reasons.
3. If you choose to leave the group midway through the trip, the uncompleted portion will be considered a voluntary waiver. Only the unused portion of the package fee will be refunded; transportation costs are non-refundable.
4. If attractions are closed due to force majeure and cannot be visited normally, the tour will be cancelled or replaced after mutual agreement, and the price difference will be refunded on-site.
5. Guests holding various certificates that qualify for scenic area discounts should inform us in advance and present their certificates when purchasing tickets. Specific policies and standards apply based on the scenic area’s policies on the day of the trip.
6. Trip Day Calculation Rules: If you are participating in a nationwide trip, the total number of days listed on this product includes round-trip transportation time (1 day for outbound flights and 1 day for return flights). Please ensure you fully understand the trip day calculation rules when signing the contract. If there is a misunderstanding regarding the number of trip days due to personal reasons, the travel agency reserves the right to refuse unreasonable claims. (This clause is irrelevant for tourists starting and ending within Xinjiang.)
7. Food: Xinjiang cuisine tends to be strong, with a slightly higher spiciness level than other inland regions. It is recommended to order small portions frequently when ordering or enjoying food. Meal times: Due to the approximately 2-hour time difference between Xinjiang and other inland areas (but Beijing time is still used), breakfast is generally around 8:00 AM, lunch is between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM, and dinner is around 8:00 PM. Please bring your own snacks.
8. Due to Xinjiang’s economic backwardness compared to other parts of China, there are significant differences between hotels of the same standard in Xinjiang and those in other parts of China, as well as between hotels in scenic areas and those in cities. Please be prepared for this.
9. Itinerary Notes: The above itinerary may be adjusted according to the actual weather and temperature on the day. [Itinerary times are for reference only and are subject to change based on the actual tour schedule.]
“Notice on Precautions for Winter Tourism in Altay”
Dear tourists:
Although the snow scenery in Altay is beautiful in winter, snowfall is frequent. If temporary traffic control is caused by weather or other force majeure events, we have prepared contingency plans for you and are willing to do our best to ensure your travel experience: I. Explanation of common traffic control situations
★ Temporary control: If vehicle passage is temporarily restricted due to weather, please wait a moment. We will follow up on the road conditions as soon as possible;
★ Extreme situations (rare): In the event of an avalanche (which occurs 3-5 times per year), it may cause travel delays, temporary stranding on the mountain, or even affect return flights.
II. Response Plans and Costs
We have extensive experience and ample adjustment plans (such as adjusting the itinerary order based on weather forecasts). However, to avoid misunderstandings, we would like to explain in advance any additional costs incurred due to force majeure:
★ Encountering traffic control/scenic area closure upon arrival:
Option A: Completely change the itinerary: Abandon the Kanas and Hemu itinerary and instead visit Keketuohai, General Mountain, or other scenic areas around Altay, or adjust the route towards Yili;
Option B: Wait: Wait in Burqin for clearance, during which time you can visit surrounding scenic areas or flexibly adjust according to real-time road conditions and traffic police notifications; This option may affect the later stages of the itinerary, involving rebooking or postponing flights or shortening the later stages of the itinerary. Costs incurred will be handled in accordance with Article 67 of the Tourism Law.
★ If only four-wheel drive five-seater vehicles are allowed on the mountain: If, due to heavy snowfall, traffic police only allow four-wheel drive five-seater vehicles (commercial four-wheel drive vehicles are few in number in the Altay region, most are non-commercial vehicles) to go up the mountain, you will need to sign an agreement: voluntarily paying the additional price difference. This situation is unrelated to the travel agency and will not be used as a basis for complaints; and the vehicle owner will be responsible for vehicle safety issues.
★If you are stranded in the mountains: We will assist you in booking extended accommodation, but you will be responsible for the additional costs. We can also assist in providing relevant documentation.
Please feel free to contact us if you encounter any problems during your trip. We wish you a safe and enjoyable winter trip in Altay!
