About Us
All our tours are customised to meet each client’s unique needs. No matter how specific your requirements are, we will do our best to create a trip that perfectly matches your needs and interests. Flexibility is our principle. You can customise your itinerary during the planning stage and adjust it at any time during your trip. Our team consists of native speakers fluent in multiple languages, so you don’t have to worry about communication problems preventing your needs from being accurately conveyed.
VisitCNVoyage specialises in providing customisable private tours in China. Although group tours are usually cheaper than private customised tours, nothing compares to the experience of a private customised tour. A private tour allows you to travel at your own pace, change your itinerary whenever you wish, and ask your guide as many questions as you like, helping you make the most of your time in China.
To help a travel agency customise your itinerary, you should describe your ideal way of travelling. Be as detailed as possible! You can tell the agency which places you want to visit, which foods you want to try, and which activities you want to take part in. All our agents know China very well, so feel free to ask them as many questions as you like. This will help broaden your options and give your agent valuable insights into the type of trip you are looking for.
Payment and Trust
Every client has different interests and goals for their trip to China, so our tour packages do not have fixed prices. The cost of each trip depends on the attractions you plan to visit and the activities you want to take part in. In addition, if you are travelling with children, we will adjust the price accordingly, as ticket prices at some attractions vary for children.
We can prepare as many itineraries as you need, depending on your requirements. Our goal is to customise your itinerary according to your expectations. We allow clients to add or remove activities flexibly according to their interests. Each time you make a change to the itinerary, you will receive a new quotation.
The contract price is the total cost of the agreed services. It usually includes a private vehicle, guide, hotel accommodation, tickets for planned attractions, and other arrangements listed in the contract. Any excluded items will be clearly stated before payment.
The contract must be signed before payment. It will clearly state the route, hotel or hotel standards, vehicle, guide services, included items, cancellation terms, and final quotation.
Travel Planning
Yes, you can adjust your itinerary during the trip. If you decide to skip certain activities, we will refund the corresponding costs. If you do not want to take part in certain activities or wish to skip an attraction, please inform your guide so that they can make the necessary arrangements.
No. We do not include compulsory shopping stops in our itineraries, nor do we accept commission-based shopping partnerships. Your travel time is reserved for the places you genuinely want to visit.
Payment and Booking
Alipay and WeChat Pay now allow international visitors to link foreign Visa or Mastercard credit or debit cards without needing a Chinese bank account. Before departure, download the app, register and verify your identity using your passport, then add your bank card under the payment settings. Alipay’s TourCard prepaid feature is particularly convenient. Once topped up, it can be used at almost all merchants, including roadside stalls.
Yes. Cash in Chinese yuan (RMB) is still accepted throughout China, although mobile payments have become the main method of payment for everyday purchases. We recommend carrying RMB 500–1,000 as emergency cash, especially when visiting rural areas, local markets, and remote attractions where mobile payment coverage may be limited. You can exchange currency at airports, banks, or large hotels. ATMs that accept international bank cards are available in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu.
First, notify your bank before travelling and enable international transactions, as many bank cards are restricted in China by default. Make sure the cardholder’s name exactly matches the name on their passport. If you are linking your card to Alipay or WeChat Pay, try turning off your VPN during setup, using a physical card instead of a virtual card, and ensuring that the app is updated to the latest version. As a backup, carry enough RMB cash and consider bringing a spare card from a different bank.
