Overall Rating: This was a very reassuring trip. The tour was professionally organized and well-structured, and Xinjiang is absolutely beautiful. I’ll definitely be back!

Here are three impressions I’d like to share:

First, safety was well taken care of. The vehicles were reliable and comfortable, and the drivers were experienced, driving smoothly on both mountain roads and long-distance stretches. Local security was good, and combined with a well-planned itinerary, I never had any concerns throughout the entire trip. Second, the management was very well-organized. There was no forced shopping, the schedule was transparent, and all hotels were booked in advance so we could check in immediately upon arrival. The meals were clean and hygienic, with plenty of options—even my picky eaters in the family were able to enjoy the food. Third, the pace was very comfortable. It wasn’t a rushed, “herding ducks” kind of itinerary; we had plenty of time at each location to take our time looking around and taking photos, and we were able to experience the local culture—it struck a perfect balance between activity and relaxation.

Here are some practical tips for those planning to go: UV rays are very strong in Xinjiang and the weather is dry, so be sure to bring sunscreen, lip balm, and moisturizers; some boardwalks and lakeside grassy areas can be slippery, so wear comfortable, non-slip shoes; mobile payments are widely used in most parts of China, so it’s advisable to set up your payment methods in advance, while also keeping some cash on hand just in case; August and September are the peak tourist season when the scenery is at its best, so be sure to book well in advance.

Overall, this was a very professional, well-organized, and reassuring trip. I’d recommend it to my friends, and I’ll definitely be back myself next time~
