This Northern Xinjiang tour was well worth the price; I highly recommend it.

First, here are the three things that impressed me the most. First, the scenery was truly breathtaking. Kanas, Sayram Lake, and Nalati—any one of them is world-class. Even casual smartphone photos turned out like masterpieces, and I got bombarded with questions when I posted them on WeChat Moments. Second, the arrangements were hassle-free.

The bus was spacious and comfortable, and the accommodations within the scenic areas were excellent—waking up to morning mist over the grasslands right outside my window. There were no mandatory shopping stops throughout the trip, so all our time was spent exploring the attractions.

Third, the service was reliable. Before signing up, customer service clearly explained the costs and itinerary, and it was easy to reach someone for follow-up during the trip—I never had trouble getting in touch with anyone.

If there are any things to keep in mind, these points are important: The temperature difference between day and night in Xinjiang is significant, so even in July and August, be sure to pack a thick jacket—it gets especially cold near mountains and lakes; some grassland and lakeside boardwalks can be quite slippery, so it’s best to wear non-slip sneakers; UV rays are very strong, so don’t forget sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.

Additionally, July, August, and September are Xinjiang’s peak tourist season—the scenery is at its best, but so are the crowds. Be sure to sign up and book accommodations well in advance.

Overall, this tour is ideal for first-time visitors to Xinjiang—it offers great value for money and a truly authentic experience. Next time I visit Southern Xinjiang with my family, I’ll definitely book with this agency again.
